Maria`s Pizza in Brantford

Hadn't been here for a while. I had heard about some of the changes and was wanting to try it. I should explain that is wasn't bad. It's just.....not as good as it once was. The sauce is VERY bland. The toppings were ok. The service was fine. I'd have to say, I'm awaiting the rebuilding of the original Maria's. I can say with all honesty, that location always maintained its original, authentic taste and quality. This location (West), is still superior to say, Little Ceasars. But, just not what it once was.

Second time in the row, no pizza when we showed up for pick-up. They sold it before we got there. Great pizza though, best in Brantord.

OH MY GOD > is this good pizza. We drive in from Delhi ( 30 min drive ) just to have the pizza fresh hot from the oven. That is the secret. make sure your there ahead of time. // only thing is > order after 6 PM because we always eat early LMAO

Marias is well known for great pizza. They will cook your bacon before it is cooked on your pizza (if requested). Their sauce is famous in the city and they don't cut corners. The only improvement I would suggest is with their customer service. They are very abrupt on the phone and in-store. Your service will not come with a smile. It has not and will not deter me from ordering from them - however it definitely would deter some customers.

I have recently moved to the west Brant area and i must say that this pizza is a severe downgrade to the pizza that is found at Maria's Original. At this location they push their cheese until it is one big mess, and i've heard that they freeze everything. Also some of the staff have been intoxicated while i was in there trying to order a pizza. completely ruining the family business, and its worth the trip to go downtown and get the other one

The very best pizza around! Love the "doggie bags" as well. Great food and great service!

Maria's Pizza West - was in the area and dropped in for a slice. It was Good!They have a nice menu. I was there for lunch and this place was hopping Busy. Since 1968. A gem of a place, in Brantford ON. Good stuff :-).Update, 2020Mar. - another visit to Maria's.GREAT PIZZA - tried a veggie slice this time.

Simple and tasty. Glad they added a bar and a sit down area.

I usually love there pizza. But this time it was burnt and the response from them is I will put down that you dont like it well done. REALLY!!!

Love this place and they are so much friendlier then the other place. Worth the extra drive to Maria's West.

You can never go wrong with Maria's Pizza, even if you are just getting a slice. I personally go out of my way to this location to get the fresh cannoli that they also offer. It is a great treat to bring to any party you are hosting or attending.

Great local pizzeria

The slice I had was amazing. The people in the store were nice and brought my food to me outside as soon as it was ready instead of waiting for me to come in. Very clean inside. My only issue was the grease. The slices had so much grease on them I had to wait a few min to eat them till I could drain some grease off. That wont stop me from getting more of those tasty slices.

Ordered a large pizza with 5 toppings. Toppings tasted fresh and the dough was really really good and they seasoned it really well. But i found it was a bit heavy handed with the cheese. Next time i will order with light on the cheese.

Would give them zero stars if I could. I called them in advance and they said they couldn’t even make pizza for me ...then hung up on me. Never going to order from them again. Lady was soooooo rude on the phone

It's been a while since I have lasted visited. Pizza is incredibly delicious! I enjoyed their chicken alfredo pasta dish. Service was good. A Brantford must. Next time I will be trying those desserts!

Love this location. Staff are always friendly. There was a little mix up with our order and without any hesitation they made it right. The guys loved the pizza, fresh and delicious .. as always.

First time visit for Pizza, bought a large and thoroughly enjoyed it. I will be back.

Amazing service. The Cesar salad is unreal we picked one up for a bday and they even gave us some cannolis free of charge for the bday boy. Such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Thank you !!

Great for both eating in or taking out! Maria's has by far the best pizza I've ever had (I'm a long-time godfathers pizza lover)! Plus, the cannolis are the best - they offer a wide variety of flavors. I definitely recommend!

I would give it 6 stars if I could. Love the pizza love the cannolis. One day I will try the pasta.

I dont know why so many people love this place. We waited an hour for pizza and then saw the woman take it off the top of the oven in a box while we were waiting !!!! Soggy thick crust with very little taste . Came all the way from cambridge after seeing positive reviews...never again

Excellent homemade Italian pizza. Extremely well made and tasty. Good price.

Best pizza this side of Italy. Very tasty, great pastries too. This place is well know and busy, I see why. The history in the food is there, you can tase it in Evey bite. It's well worth the half hour drive and wait. I will go back. Thanks for putting out one of the best pizzas I have ever had.

So Maria’s has been a staple for me since I was young and to this day it still does not disappoint. Fresh, delicious and consistent are reasons why we continue to go back. And who doesn’t want to support local. Eat in or take home either way you won’t lose. And while your at it try the cannolis- my fav are the hard ones!

I go here weekly. It is quaint and adorable. The pizza is outstanding. Maria's Pizza has been a Brantford icon for decades. Cherished location.

Great pizza lots of toppings. Home made canolliies, nice little bar, beer and wine.A must place to eat. Check times they arnt open Sundays.

Made fresh to order Maria's pizza is one of the better home made pizzas I've had. It was a little greasy but that could have been because I ordered a meat lovers. They even have free pizza scraps to bring home to the dog.

Three words Better....Time.....ManagementThis is my 4th order in two months, and of that this is the second tonight where I was told that wait time for PICK UP is almost 2 hours!!.Noone ls going to wait 2 hours for pizza.....sorry.And I see quite a few comments here about the garlic bread being burnt black on the bottom...not only me

I've been getting Maria's pizza for years, it's pizza that is simply just not like the rest of the chains. The first thing you notice is the crispy, yet nice and doughy crust, the thick layer of toppings and the big slices to hold it all together. The prefect combination has you coming back for more (the dipping sauce is prefect to add). Highly recommend giving this place a try, they also have pastas and a bunch more of items for the whole family.

Had the meat lovers pizza, added hot peppers & extra cheese - perfect balance of ingredients in spite of our additions.

Shouldn't have to heat my pizza & garlic bread in the microwave when it arrives, but after being told it would be 40min for delivery & it arrives an hour & a half later guess I should've known. Also didn't appreciate the attitude of the girl answering the phone, basically just passing the buck to the delivery service, however when I explained that if it was ready in time & the driver was just late, I still didn't appreciate that that meant my pizza sat in their store ready for @half an hour, with no call to the customer, no discount, nothing offered to help rectify my dinner being so late & cold! Bye Maria's
